Overview
Key Signout Log is planned as a local-first key signout ledger. Key labels, person names, signatures, photos, notes, due-back times, and checkout history stay on the device unless the user exports or shares them.
Data you enter
You may enter key-ring labels, locations, person names, holder references, due-back times, witness names, signatures, photos, checkout notes, return notes, and checkout history.
The app is intended for recordkeeping only. It is not designed to store surveillance, access-control, employee-discipline, legal custody, or security-monitoring data.
Local storage and exports
The planned v1 does not require an account, backend service, cloud sync, or tracking. Records are planned to stay on device unless the user chooses to export or share them.
CSV/PDF exports, if shipped, are user-created files. Once exported or shared, the user controls where those files are saved or sent.
Purchases and support
The app may use Apple in-app purchase for a one-time Pro unlock if that remains the release model. Apple processes purchases, and the app uses purchase status to unlock paid features.
