What it does

Prep Sheet Daily overview

Prep Sheet Daily turns the recurring kitchen prep sheet into a reusable daily workflow. Managers keep station pars in one place, staff run the checklist during prep, and unfinished work is carried into the next sheet instead of getting lost in a notebook or spreadsheet.

  • Prep lists live in spreadsheets, clipboards, or whiteboards that are easy to copy wrong.
  • Partial prep and carry-forward work can disappear between close-out and the next shift.
  • Small kitchens need a practical prep sheet without buying a POS, inventory, or compliance system.

Key details

Why it is useful.

The practical reasons this app earns a place on someone's phone.

01

Build station prep lists

Group prep by line, bakery, bar, truck, or any station your kitchen uses so the day starts with the right work in the right place.

02

Set pars once

Keep item names, units, and target quantities in one reusable prep sheet instead of rebuilding the same template every shift.

03

Carry forward partial prep

Mark work complete, partial, skipped, or carried forward so tomorrow starts with the right context.

04

Print tomorrow's sheet

Export a clean station-based sheet for the kitchen, clipboard, or next setup without turning a spreadsheet into a formatting project.

Use cases

Where it fits.

Real situations where the app removes friction from a familiar job.

Morning prep setup

Open today's sheet by station and see what needs to be prepped before service starts.

A cafe manager starts the bakery and sandwich stations from the same reusable par list.

Close-out handoff

Review what was completed, what was partial, and what should carry forward to tomorrow.

The grill station marks two items partial so the next prep sheet starts with the real leftover work.

Kitchen paper backup

Print or export a readable station sheet when the team still needs paper on the line.

A food truck prints the next-day prep list before restocking for tomorrow's route.
FAQ

The practical questions.

Short answers about pricing, privacy, launch status, and everyday use.

Is this an inventory system?

No. Prep Sheet Daily is planned for daily prep sheets, station par targets, checklist runs, carry-forward, and print/export. It is not an inventory costing, depletion, purchasing, supplier, or POS system.

Does it connect to my POS?

No. The first version is planned to stay independent from POS systems so a small kitchen can start with its existing prep-sheet workflow.

Can I print the prep sheet?

Yes. The planned v1 includes a print/export route with clean station sections and readable kitchen paper output.

Can my team use it on a tablet?

The planned v1 is web-first and tablet-friendly. The first scope is one kitchen/account with a shared daily workflow.

What will it cost?

Pricing is not public yet. This page will be updated before launch when the beta and payment model are approved.

When will it launch?

Prep Sheet Daily is coming soon. No launch date is promised yet while the product and beta plan are still being prepared.
