Is my audio stored on your servers?
Not permanently. Audio is transcribed using a self-hosted Whisper model in a secure environment. Audio may be retained temporarily while processing and is not permanently stored on our servers. Saved recordings remain stored locally on your device until you delete them.

How accurate is the transcription?
Transcription is powered by a Whisper-based model, which is typically very accurate for clear audio in English. Accuracy may vary based on background noise, accents, and audio quality. Always review the transcript for important meetings.

Can the app identify who is speaking?
Yes — the app uses AI to identify distinct speakers and labels them as Speaker A, Speaker B, etc. based on conversational patterns. This is text-based analysis, not audio-based voice recognition, so it works best when speakers have distinct content areas or when names are mentioned.

How do I delete a meeting?
Open the Meetings list by tapping the clock icon on the main screen. Then tap the trash icon on the meeting you want to delete and confirm. The recording and transcript are permanently removed from your device.

What happens when I reach the free usage limit?
The free plan includes 120 minutes per month with a 30-minute per-meeting cap. When you hit the meeting cap, recording auto-stops and your transcript starts processing. When you reach your monthly limit, you can upgrade to Pro (1,000 min/mo, 90-minute meetings) or Power (3,000 min/mo, 2-hour meetings).

When are minutes counted?
Minutes are counted only after successful processing. If a recording fails to process, it does not consume plan minutes.

What is the difference between Pro and Power?
Pro ($9.99/mo) gives you 1,000 minutes per month with 90-minute meetings. Power ($24.99/mo) gives you 3,000 minutes per month with 2-hour meetings. Both paid plans keep AI summaries and PDF export, while increasing your monthly recording time and max meeting length.

How do I export my meeting notes?
After a meeting is processed, tap "Export PDF" at the bottom of the Transcript screen. The app generates a PDF with the summary, action items, discussion points, and transcript. You can then share it via AirDrop, email, or save it to Files.

Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
You need an internet connection to process recordings. Audio is sent to our secure transcription environment, and transcript text is sent to OpenAI for summaries and speaker labels. Recording itself works offline, but processing will fail without a connection.

What languages are supported?
The transcription engine is Whisper-based and supports many languages, but the app is currently optimised for English. Summaries and analysis are generated in English regardless of the source language.

Is my data safe?
Yes. Saved meetings are stored on your device, audio is processed in a secure environment and not permanently stored on our servers, and transcript text is shared with OpenAI only to generate summaries and speaker labels. We also store an anonymous usage identifier to track recorded minutes against your plan.
