What it does

Until Payday: Budget Calendar overview

Most people who live paycheck to paycheck do not need a full financial tool. They need to know one thing: can I make it to payday? Until Payday: Budget Calendar answers that directly.

  • Paychecks and bills are tracked in separate apps that do not talk to each other.
  • Spreadsheets require constant upkeep and do not show you the running picture.
  • Most budget apps add complexity instead of removing it.

FAQ

The practical questions.

Short answers about pricing, privacy, launch status, and everyday use.

Does Until Payday: Budget Calendar require a bank connection?

No. You enter your paydays, bills, and transactions manually. No bank login, no Plaid, no data sharing.

How does the calendar show my balance?

The calendar shows a running balance for each day. It starts from your initial balance, adds income on payday, subtracts bills on their due date, and adjusts for any transactions you have logged.

What counts as a transaction?

Any spending or income you log manually. Use negative amounts for spending, positive for income that is not a regular payday.

Is there a subscription?

No. The free tier gives you 1 payday and 20 transactions per month. A one-time $4.99 Pro unlock removes those limits.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to any server.

How do bill reminders work?

Bill reminders are sent as local notifications 1 day before a bill is due. They are a Pro feature and require notification permission.

Can I export my data?

CSV export is available to Pro users through the Settings tab.

How do I restore my Pro purchase?

Use the Restore Purchases option in Settings. Pro is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple Account.
