Effective 5 August 2026. This policy describes the current local-first iPhone app and its public support flow.
Overview
ShiftRitual is a local-first iPhone app published by LumenHunt. The current app does not create an account, operate a user-data backend, show advertising, use third-party analytics, or track you across apps or websites.
Information stored on your device
The app stores the shifts, roster patterns, routine steps, reminders, notes, completion history, preferences, and purchase-entitlement hint needed to provide its features. This data stays in the app container and shared App Group used by the app and its widget.
Calendar, notifications, alarms, and widgets
Calendar access is optional and used on-device to compare shifts with calendar events when you request that feature. Notification permission is optional and used for reminders you configure. A prominent alarm is scheduled only when you explicitly mark a routine as must-not-miss. The widget receives a limited local snapshot through the App Group.
Exports, backups, and purchases
When you choose Share, Calendar Export, or Backup, Apple's share interface lets you choose the destination. Data sent elsewhere is then governed by that destination. Apple processes the optional lifetime in-app purchase; ShiftRitual does not receive payment-card details.
