Terms of Service
This page gives each app a stable legal route that can be linked from the App Store, settings screens, and support flows.
Agreement to these terms
By downloading or using Clean Scan, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you obtained the app through the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard licensed application terms also apply where relevant.
What the app does
Clean Scan lets you capture paper documents with your device camera, save them as multi-page PDFs, edit page order, delete pages, append new scans, rename documents, search your library, and share exported PDFs.
License and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal or internal business use in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s platform rules.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or misuse the app beyond rights allowed by law
- Do not use the app in a way that violates another person’s rights or applicable law
- You are responsible for the legality of the documents you scan, store, export, or share
Free tier and purchases
The app includes a limited free tier of 3 scans. After that, a one-time in-app purchase can unlock unlimited scanning. This is not a subscription.
Apple processes billing, payment authorization, refunds, and purchase restoration through your Apple ID and App Store account. We do not directly bill you for the iOS purchase.
Your documents and backups
You keep ownership of the documents you scan. You are responsible for maintaining any backups or exports you need. We are not responsible for loss caused by device damage, deletion, operating-system issues, failed shares, or files that were never exported from the device.
Availability and accuracy
We aim to keep the app available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, defect-free performance, or perfect scan results in every lighting condition, document type, or device state.
Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by the Privacy Policy published for Clean Scan at /apps/clean-document-scanner/privacy.
Intellectual property
The app software, design, branding, and related materials are owned by LumenHunt or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you.
Disclaimers and liability limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the app.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a material update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
