Overview
AI Meeting Recorder is designed around local meeting history with temporary server-side AI processing. Saved recordings, transcripts, summaries, action items, discussion points, potential miscommunications, follow-up questions, speaker labels, and exported PDFs stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them. Audio is uploaded to the LumenHunt backend only when you ask the app to process a meeting.
Information We Collect
- A device identifier stored in the iOS Keychain and mirrored locally so plan limits can be enforced even if the app is reinstalled.
- Usage records needed to run the free, Pro, and Power plans, including device ID, recording duration, usage period, tier, and meeting title.
- Verified Apple StoreKit entitlement data, such as product ID, billing interval, original transaction ID, expiration date, and verification time.
- Temporary audio upload chunks, transcription job status, transcript text, and language while a meeting is being processed.
- Meeting content you choose to process, including audio and transcript text, so the app can create summaries, discussion points, action items, miscommunications, follow-up questions, and speaker labels.
- Saved meeting history on your device, including recordings, transcripts, summaries, notes, action items, and generated PDFs.
- If you contact support, we receive the email address and message you choose to send.
How We Use Information
- Check whether your device can record under the free, Pro, or Power plan limits.
- Verify Apple subscription entitlements for weekly and monthly plans.
- Upload audio to the LumenHunt backend and send it to OpenAI Whisper for speech-to-text transcription.
- Send transcript text to OpenAI to create summaries, speaker labels, discussion points, action items, possible miscommunications, and follow-up questions.
- Return AI outputs to the app so they can be saved in your on-device meeting history.
- Support retry and background processing while a meeting is being transcribed or analyzed.
- Reply to support requests you send us.
Sharing and Processing
We do not sell meeting data or use it for advertising. Audio and transcript text are processed by the LumenHunt backend and OpenAI only to provide the transcription and meeting-note features you request. Apple handles App Store subscriptions and purchase restoration. If you export, copy, share, or email meeting notes from the app, that sharing is controlled by you and by the apps or services you choose.

Retention
Saved meetings remain on your device until you delete them. Temporary uploaded audio, intermediate chunks, transcription job status, and transcription results are cleaned from the processing service after the short processing and retry window, currently up to 24 hours. Usage records and verified entitlement records are retained as needed to enforce plan limits, prevent free-tier reset abuse, support subscriptions, and diagnose access issues. Support correspondence may be retained for as long as needed to resolve the issue and maintain ordinary business records.
Your Choices
- Choose whether to process a recording with AI after the app shows the processing disclosure.
- Delete individual meetings from History at any time.
- Use Delete All Data in the app to remove saved meetings, recordings, transcripts, summaries, and notes from this device.
- Understand that deleting local data does not reset the device identifier used for plan limits.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple, and restore purchases through the App Store if needed.
- Contact support if you need help with subscription or access issues.
