Privacy Policy

Overview

Until Payday: Budget Calendar is a local-first budget calendar app. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app stores on your device, when Apple services are involved, and the limited situations where information may leave your device.

What the app stores locally

• Paydays, bills, transactions, and your starting balance are stored locally in JSON files on your device.
• The app does not require an account, bank login, Plaid connection, or cloud sync service.
• Settings related to the budget and app behavior are stored locally on your device.

Notifications and Apple services

If you enable bill reminders, the app requests notification permission from iOS and schedules local notifications on your device. Reminder content is not sent to LumenHunt servers.

If you buy or restore the Pro unlock, Apple processes billing and provides purchase-entitlement information required for StoreKit restore and unlock flows.

When information can leave your device

By default, the app does not transmit your payday, bill, or transaction data to our servers. Information leaves your device only if you choose to export or share it, if Apple processes an in-app purchase, or if you contact support by email.

• CSV export leaves the app only when you choose to share or save the export file
• Apple handles payment and restore transactions for the one-time Pro unlock
• Support emails include whatever contact details and message content you choose to send

What we do not do

• We do not run a cloud backup or sync service for this app.
• We do not connect to your bank account or fetch your bank balances.
• We do not sell your data or run an ad network inside the app.
• We do not use third-party analytics SDKs to profile your budgeting behavior.

Your choices and retention

• You can use the app without creating an account.
• You can edit or delete paydays, bills, transactions, and your starting balance at any time.
• You can turn bill reminders on or off in Settings.
• You can export CSV only when you choose to create and share an export file.
• If you delete the app, locally stored budgeting data may be removed unless you saved it elsewhere.

Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app, legal requirements, or support practices.
