Privacy Policy
What Daymark stores and where it goes.
About this policy
Daymark is a personal task manager from LumenHunt. This policy applies to the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch apps. Effective 26 October 2026.
Your task data
Daymark stores your tasks, notes, checklist items, dates, tags, projects, areas and headings on your device. When you are signed in to iCloud and it is available, your task database syncs through Apple’s CloudKit private database under your Apple Account. We do not operate a task server and cannot read your private CloudKit database. Apple’s services and device backups are governed by Apple’s privacy terms.
Apple Watch
The Watch companion receives a limited copy of Today and Inbox tasks, short notes and checklists from its paired iPhone through Apple’s Watch Connectivity. It keeps that copy and pending changes locally on the Watch. Captured tasks, checklist ticks and completion changes are sent to the paired iPhone when a connection is available. A pending change is retained on the Watch until the iPhone acknowledges it. There is no separate Watch account or LumenHunt server.
Calendar and Reminders
Calendar access is optional. Selected events are read locally and shown alongside your tasks. Daymark does not change calendar events or copy event details into its task database. Importing Apple Reminders is optional. Selected reminders are copied into Daymark and that copy can sync through your iCloud account. The original reminders are never changed, completed or deleted by Daymark.
Notifications, widgets and sharing
Reminders use local device notifications. Task titles and a short note excerpt may be visible in notification previews; you control previews in device Settings. Widgets read a local task snapshot and can complete tasks. The share extension imports text and links you choose to share. These extensions use a local app group shared with Daymark.
No advertising or tracking
The apps contain no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell task data, create an advertising profile or operate a Daymark sign-in service. Apple may provide its own diagnostics and App Store or TestFlight feedback under Apple’s terms.
Exporting and deleting
JSON exports contain readable task data. You choose where to save or share them. Import merges missing items into your database. Tasks can be moved to Trash and permanently deleted in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data; copies may remain on other devices, in iCloud or in backups according to Apple’s settings and retention. We do not hold a private task database to erase for you.
Support and this website
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond. Avoid including private task details unless needed. These website pages are covered by the separate website privacy policy at https://lumenhunt.com/privacy. The website does not receive your task database.

We will update this policy if the app’s data practices change. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].
